Spring 2022 Update

Message from the HAPOA Board:

We are pleased to report that 100% of the 246 property owners in Heritage Acres have paid their 2021 dues in full, including some that were assessed late fees.

Please note that dues are collected in arrears, (in December for the previous 12-months). 2022 dues will be invoiced in November of 2022 and due no later than December 31, 2022.  Dues are increasing in 2022 to stay within our budget of improvements and repairs that fall within our four (4) year plan. Dues for 2022 will be $225 and will increase $25 per year in subsequent years 2023, 2024 and 2025. We have not had an increase in the last two years and to increase the fees by $25 a year over a four-year period also allows us to maintain a slight positive balance in our general fund while still maintaining the roads, signs and other general expenses incurred.

Logan Paving has recently completed repairs at the following intersections to include:

  • Fireside Dr./Heritage Acres Dr.
  • Fireside Dr./Fox Ridge
  • Silverwood/Fox Ridge

Springfield Striping and Sealing has completed asphalt crack fill work on phase II of our 4 year plan and will be sealing phase II sometime this summer.  A map showing the four (4) phases is attached for further explanation. There will also be a complete re-work and overlay done on Lost Trail, west of Heritage Acres Drive, to include the cul-de-sac within the next few weeks.

The volunteer mowing list for the front entrance is now published on the www.hapoa.org site and accessible to all.  There are some gaps in the schedule so feel free to pitch in and help as you see it needed.
